DOCTOR CHEWMANGER'S VAULT OF TERROR PRESENTS REVENGE OF THE LITTLE PEOPLE

Here in the backroom I've been busy celebrating Halloween.

I spent Saturday night at a Halloween party and a large part of Sunday recovering from the aforementioned bash. I've also been preparing something special for this blog for the 31st (more on that later).

The upshot of this that I haven't had the time to watch as many films as I normally do. So, in the interests of still giving you something to read here's another tale gleaned from the pages of an old horror comic.

This time its the turn of the October 1953 issue of Out Of The Shadows to provide us with our terror tale. This story seems to borrow quite heavily from Tod Browning's seminal horror movie Freaks (OK- so it straight up rips it off) - it's a story of forbidden love, betrayal and revenge from beyond the grave set against the backdrop of a circus carnival - I give you...Revenge of the Little People.

The moral of the story - never piss off the vertically challenged.

Be back here tomorrow for the big day itself - HALLOWEEN !!!

To mark the 31st I'm doing something a little special. Get ready for THE HALLOWEEN TRIPLE WHAMMY !!!!

That's right - tomorrow you get not one, not two, but THREE posts making up a triple whammy of Halloween goodness.

There's going to be a film review (and it's something seasonally appropriate), a comic strip (also seasonally appropriate) and to round it off there's going to be a TRUE ghost story detailing my own encounter with something that wasn't quite right...

So be here tomorrow for the Halloween Triple Whammy. Happy Halloween Eve and remember...it's spooky out there...
